MARK SKELDING

Mark is passionate about the role that eco-psychological understanding has to play in our evolving recognition of our place in the world, and how best to address the many challenges facing us individually, and as a species.

He has been working as a Psychosynthesis therapist since 1997, a staff member of the Psychosynthesis Institute of NZ, a founding trustee of Psychosynthesis South Pacific, and the Self and World ecopsychological programme. Mark has a background in communications, marketing and fund-raising with arts organisations and environmental groups in New Zealand, UK and Jordan.

A convenor for Heart Politics, and founding co-ordinator of T3-TransitionTownThames, Mark recently received a Masters in Education (Social Ecology) degree from the University of Western Sydney. He also has diplomas in Psychosynthesis Counselling, and Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, and is a public speaker and group facilitator.

Mark, a seasoned world traveller and educator, is planning to relocate to British Columbia, Canada in the coming months. His abiding exploration of eco-psychology for facilitating transformative conversations and solutions around the environmental crisis will serve him well as he continues his “Reimagining Humanity” journey.
